Blue Movie Review

Why do our filmmakers go haunted with Hollywood mania? They’ve got the potentials of penning the best scripts and yet die-n-yearn to make bombastic flicks of that sort. BLUE – it may boast off to be a big budget flick with superstars and two academy award winners in the league. But there’s nothing special to mention about the film.

It’s all about SHALIMAR meeting Mechana’s Gold under the deep blue of Bahamas.

Antony D’Souza seems to have crafted the tale merely with an idea of striking spectacularly with technical panoramas. But on the narrative aspects, the film looks flimsy…

Treasure hunts – it isn’t something off-the-wall subject over the screens. We’d watched so many films of this genre more than hundred times. BLUE doesn’t compounds with substantiality in the first hour while the latter part looks caricatured with foreseeable narration.
